Secret Pizza Club

The crown of best pizza in Utah seems to be ever changing. You hear the classic names like Pie Hole, Settebello, and Bricks Corner depending on people’s tastes, but there’s never been a clear winner.

Based on what I’ve heard Sam Pew & the Salt Lake Pizza Club may have ended the debate.

Sam offers up a different experience, no dine in, no calling ahead, just a routine weekly waitlist where pizza lovers fight for the limited slots. You then pick up your pie at Leavity Bread & Coffee shop.

Each Tuesday the preorder spots open up for the following week. It’s a simple two pizza menu offering a plain and spicy pie.

As you can see from the beautiful picture above, it’s a thin, well cooked pizza pie that is closer to that classic New York style than many places in New York.

Great pizza + a unique experience, it seems like Sam’s figured something out because people are loving it! Had a friend who just picked up his order yesterday and said it was hands down the best pizza he’s had in Utah.
