Don’t fret the rain these last few days, that gorgeous 75-80 degree weather will be back later this week.

The timing couldn’t be better because on of Salt Lake’s neatest art festivals is back this weekend.

Mural Fest

This weekend one of Salt Lake’s best & most unique art competitions is back for the 8th straight year.

The group of artists is the strongest it’s ever been including the most anticipated artist, RISK. He’s painted sets for Michael Jackson, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Aerosmith.

On top of that there’s rumored to be on artist painting the largest mural ever in Salt Lake, over 9000 sq ft on one of the walls of South Salt Lake City Hall.

You’ll have a chance to meet the artists as you walk the mural route and learn more about the story behind their work.

Not to mention there will be a community celebration featuring live music, food trucks, interactive art activities, and other vendors. You’ll also get a shot to win a few different prizes at the event.
