Happy Tuesday Hive Members!

Some unexpected April snow hit us this past weekend, I think I might have jinxed us on the weather forecast from last week’s edition.

I wanted to thank the over 1000 readers who have been patient with the shorter editions recently. My wife and I have been in the middle of some home projects, and then we had some vacation time lined up from our 9-5’s.

Brand New Sandy District

A new Utah & sports entertainment district may be on the way! The Sandy area has been slowly becoming a sports hub with Real Salt Lake and the new practice facility for Utah Hockey Club. Sounds like it’s not stopping there!

Larry Miller & his company have openly discussed plans to expand the area surrounding Riot Tinto Stadium. The plans include a bunch of additional amenities and attractions. New restaurants and entertainment spots are top of the list in the plans to expand this area.

No specific locations have been listed so far, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see places like Top Golf, new bars, and popular-style restaurants like Slackwater included in the plans. It’s fun to speculate!
