It’s farmer’s market season here and of course you always have the classic staples but it’s rare we get a new on to try out. Lucky enough we’re getting one this week!

I also have a little treat for the fried chicken lovers 😋.

New Farmer’s Market

Central 9th has always been a place to get fresh, high quality foods. From brick oven pizza and focaccia sandwich to tacos it has pretty much anything you could want, giving it the perfect foundations of a farmer’s market.

This week, for the first time ever, they’ll be hosting a farmer’s market with both indoor and outdoor access. The street will be closed down for apple cider slushies and warm fresh donuts. If you want to get a little boozie then head inside for some hard apple cider slushies.

If neither of these your speed don’t stress because they’ll have fresh fruits and veggies to shop from, food specials, and a band for entertainment.

The market will be open from 5-8pm this Thursday and will be the first of three farmer’s markets that they host.

For the Love of Fried Chicken

After being being booked out constantly the popular fried chicken food truck, Cluck Truck, will be opening their own brick and mortar store in the Granary District.

Their menu is a fried chicken lover’s paradise. Everything from loaded fries, to wraps, and your classic chicken sandwich all with secret spices and sauces .

Yeah, my mouth is watering too. The only cure is to go try it yourself at 285 W 800 S in Salt Lake. It’s still early on but they’re currently sweeping the 5 star reviews on Google.
