The Spiral Jetty

Part art installation, part natural wonder. This massive spiral of basalt rock sits on the lake’s northern shore—changing color and texture with the water levels and salt crystals. It’s one of Utah’s most surreal landscapes, especially at sunset.

Granary District Street Murals

What used to be warehouses is now Salt Lake’s creative hub. Grab coffee at Publik, wander through the massive murals, and maybe catch a pop-up event or art show.

International Peace Gardens

A quiet retreat in Jordan Park, this under-the-radar gem features mini-gardens from over 25 nations—each designed to reflect its country’s landscape and architecture.

If you’re seeking a peaceful walk or you just appreciate good landscaping this will be a great spot for you.

Memory Grove Walk

A quiet, underrated spot for leaf peeping—especially in late October. The path winds through canyons of orange maples, ending in one of the city’s most peaceful parks. Bring a thermos and take the long way back.
